Want to have class outside?
So do we. We'll take you beyond the classroom and into the forest for learning experiences that you'll never forget.
After a year off, the Forestry Club will be selling trees again in 2021. This year we will be open starting November 26 and continuing through the season until we sell out of trees. We are located at the Les Bolstad golf course on the St. Paul campus. Just a reminder that we accept cash and checks. We are looking forward to seeing you all!
CFANS feature: Cloquet Forestry Center researcher Lane Johnson contributed to the short film: Oshkigin | Spirit of Fire, which also features two local tribal fire specialists—Damon Panek and Vern Northrup. The collaborative project aims to educate and encourage a resurgence of cultural fire, and prescribed fire generally, in the Great Lakes region.
These scholarships will go directly to students to help cover the costs of attending our field sessions.
Dr. Forrest Fleischman, Associate Professor in the Department of Forest Resources, is quoted in a new Marketplace article.
