Forest Resources Research Professor and Distinguished McKnight University Professor Peter Reich is among the most cited researchers in the world in 2025. His name is included in the Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researchers list, which represents the top one percent of researchers in their field by number of citations. In total, 24 researchers at the University of Minnesota are a part of this select group.
