Research

I am broadly interested in restoration ecology of plant communities, especially in the Midwest US. My current research with the Reich lab investigates the mechanisms through which European buckthorn excludes native plants in its invasive range here in Minnesota, and methods for controlling buckthorn with novel revegetation techniques.
