The Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota is excited to invite applications for a Communications Specialist to join our team. This position supports the Department in developing and managing the Department’s communications, marketing, and public/internal relations initiatives. These initiatives can include recruitment materials, advertisements, social media and related online content through the Department’s website, events, and a bi-annual Department newsletter. Additionally, this position supports the Department’s advancement, development, and alumni relations initiatives, serves as the Department’s liaison to collegiate communications initiatives, provides communications-related administrative support to the Department, and provides communications/administrative support to the Great Lakes-Northern Forests Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit (GLNF CESU).
