The Department of Forest Resources co-hosts a variety of recurring seminars during the fall and spring semesters, including the Natural Resources Science and Practice Seminars (formerly the Forest Resources Department Seminars) and the Environmental Justice Seminars.

Seminars
Natural Resources Science and Practice Seminars
The Natural Resources Science and Practice Seminars pairs researchers in our department with practitioners for presentations and discussions on topics across the natural resources disciplines. Seminars will begin with 15 minutes of social time followed by one hour of speaker and discussion time. Each concludes with 15 additional minutes of social time.

Environmental Justice Seminars
The Environmental Justice Seminars feature practitioners and academics whose work is related to the environment and natural resources and who are leading examples of integrating justice into research, policy, education, and building community. This seminar series is interdisciplinary and open to the public.
The series is funded through the Natural Resource Association of Graduate Students, the Natural Resource Science and Management program, and the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Long Term Ecological Research Project. Thank you for the support and encouragement.
