The University of Minnesota’s Department of Forest Resources seeks a vibrant leader who will help us grow our role as a regional, national, and international leader in research and education related to forestry, natural resources, and the environment. The Department Head will guide us in building on our traditional strengths in silviculture, forest ecology, forest mensuration, human dimensions of natural resources, natural resource policy and economics, and remote sensing and our newer strengths in urban forestry and Tribal natural resource management. Through working closely with our community, this leader will guide our contributions to human and natural thriving in an era of rapid global change.
