Restoration ecology, soundscape ecology, restoration social science, acoustics, field ecology, and tropical dry forests.

Research

As part of a NASA South Asia Research Initiative project, Pooja Choksi studies the social outcomes of tree-based systems in South Asia to better quantify the restoration potential in the region. Additionally, her research examines the ecological and social outcomes of forest restoration efforts using traditional and novel methods and tools such as household and vegetation surveys and acoustic technology.
