Don Wyse
Don Wyse, faculty member in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics for 50 years and co-director of the Forever Green Initiative, passed away on July 2, 2024. Wyse was a co-founder of the Center for Integrated Natural Resources and Agricultural Management (CINRAM) and a frequent collaborator on forestry research. Read Don Wyse's obituary.
Tom Klepperich
A proud UMN forestry graduate, Tom Klepperich died protecting our nation's forests in the deadly 1971 Romero Fire of California. A new monument has recently been erected in honor of those who lost their lives in the fire. Learn more in a Wildfire Today article.
