The Urban Forestry and Outreach (UFOR) Laboratory and UMN Extension Forestry planted field trials for urban-tolerant, climate-ready trees on campus in November. It just may have been the most beautiful day in November, too, which made the planting extra fun. Tree species for the trial were selected from Extension's Recommended Trees for Climate-Ready Woodlands list and donated by a member of Extension's Minnesota Woodland Steward program.
